As we know, there’s different runner for plastic injection mould, hot runner and cold runner, and do you know their advantage?
For hot runner, we could save the plastic material to reduce the cost, and it could reduce the cycle time of plastic injection mould, so that we could produce more product at same time. For long production, adding hot runner on the plastic injection mould is a good choice. Hot runner could also help the surface of plastic produce to be more beautiful. Normally, we will use pin gate, but for some product, we suggest big gate. If customer have request, we could also use valve gate.
For cold runner, the price is lower than hot runner, and if the plastic injection mould uses the hot runner, the gate is big and the runner couldn’t separate from plastic product automatically. If you want the runner separate from plastic product automatically, we suggest three plates mould and submarine gate, please check the video, it’s 3 plates mould, you could see the runner separate from the fan directly. And For PET product, we suggest cold runner, because if use hot runner, the product is easy to be white.
