Different occasions, different products equipped with cutlery are not the same, for example, the plastic cutlery used in the restaurant is an ordinary cutlery, with some food on the cutlery is generally folded, folded does not take up space, convenient packaging. The processing technology of different cutlery molds is not the same.

Cutlery mold product material have two:PP and PS. This two material is normal material, also have degradable material, like corn starch, PLA,PBS, etc. So that the cutlery mold steel also could use different. For normal material, with normal thickness, and your cutlery could in different color, the mold steel could use P20/718,etc. But if your cutlery need to be transparent color only, and your cutlery thickness is very thin, then we recommend you to use S136 steel with hot runner. And it is better to use high speed injection machine.

For the folding cutlery molds, it is have sliders. So that it is more difficult than normal cutlery mold.
