Most caps have thread, but do you know how does it demold from cap mold? The thread has two kinds: inner thread and outside thread. And we could use many ways to demold it: 1. unscrewing system; 2. ejecte by force; 3.by ejector pin. But how to choose? Let’s browse the blog.
Unscrewing system usually use for deep thread cap mold, high material strength, high thread precision requirements of plastic parts. It is necessary to use the power provided by external forces to drive the demoulding mechanism in the cap mold, and gears are generally rotated. This way will have two external force: Hydraulic motors and motors. However, due to the fast speed of the motor and the unstable movement, hydraulic motors are generally used. Ejector by force means the cap are pushed out from the core by the stripper plate through the elastic deformation of the material. It is could use in PP or PE material thread cap mold,the thread depth is relatively shallow, the tooth shape angle is large, and the thread has room for deformation. If the thread do not have room for deformation ,then it is could not use ejector by force.
By ejector pin: This situation, the thread is outside the cap, it is could demoed by two slider. This is a easy way and have lower costs and suitable for different shape thread cap mold.
