In the auto parts industry, injection molding is one of the main methods used by manufacturers to form plastic parts. There have many parts in plastic in a car, such as bumper, light cover, sun visor, radiator grille, fender, trunk mat, dashboard cover, car top liner, Steering wheel, blinds, bracket,etc. These are made by plastic auto parts mold.
Normally, the customer will purchase a set of plastic auto parts mold from us, and ship the molds together. So they need a professional mold factory to make the molds.

For the plastic auto parts mold, there have two kinds: OEM and after-sale. The OEM product mold requirements are higher than after-sale product mold and mold accessories are better than after-sale product mold. The processing needs to be more precise, such as slow-feeding, wire cutting, High-speed five-axis milling. So the OEM product mold costs will higher than after-sale product mold. Most auto parts a, sure made by PP/ABS/PC/ABS+PC/PBT/PBT+GF, but also some parts in PET, such as air conditioner vent.
The plastic auto parts mold requirements: mold steel could use P20/718/H13/S136/NAK80/2738 etc; injection system: Hot/cold runner, sub-gate,side gate,etc. If you choose hot runner, there have some choice, such as YUDO, NOKE,SAIPU,HASCO,etc.
We will supply DFM report and mold flow analysis to you.
If you have the sample, please feel free to send your sample to us. We will check the sample structure with mold design. And update the DFM report to you. If there do not have any problem. We will supply 3d print to you. You could assemble the 3d print product with your other products.
When you confirmed the 3d print sample is ok,then we start to make the plastic auto parts mold.
