People are very smart, created many containers to storage vegetables, fruit, food. And if you are interested in molds, you will find it's unbelivable!

Many plastic products which we frequently-used, were made of plastic injection molds. Up to now, we have made at least 30 sets of basket mould, plastic laundry basket mould, hanger basket mould, vegetable basket mould, shipping basket mould, storage basket mould, etc. 

And compared to normal basket mould, rattan basket mould tooling is more complex. For the rattan area, the rattan surface processing must on high speed CNC and high precision engraving machines. For the injection system of basket mould is very important. Before making basket mould quotation, we will ask the customer which injection system do they want to use, generally we have hot runner or cold runner for them to choose, belows are its disadvantage and advantage:
cold runner, there are some advantages:
1. The mold cost is cheaper than hot runner;
2.mould structure easier.

Disadvantages:
1. the cooling time will 5-10s longer than hot runner;
2. It has long tail gate waste material, need to cut down;
3.The gate has big mark.

Hot runner advantages:
1. save the raw material;
2. reduce the cycle time;
3. do not need to use three plate mold, could use pin point gate;
4.  product surface looks nice.

Disadvantages:
1. cost higher than cold runner;
2. mould structure more complex;
3. maintain cost higher;
4. It takes a period of time for the process to be stable after starting up, resulting in more waste products at the beginning. 

About demoulding, most basket moulds are demolded by four sliders and stripper plate.
