For bucket mold steel, we can usually choose P20/718 to meet the general needs. However, if the customer needs to produce transparent color products and the daily output is high, H13/S136 steel is recommended. In addition, these steels can significantly improve the wear and corrosion resistance of the mold, thus extending the service life of the mold.
For the bucket mold, daily maintenance is also important. First, the mold cleaning work is most important. Because residual plastic particles and oil will shorten the service life of the mold and degrade the quality of the injection product. Secondly, the maintenance of the lubrication system cannot be overlooked, and proper lubrication can minimize wear between mold parts and extend the mold's service life. In addition, temperature control of the mold is also a crucial aspect of daily maintenance.Once temperature control is improper, it can lead to dimensional instability and surface defects in plastic products. Therefore, regular inspection and calibration of the heating and cooling systems to maintain optimal temperature control is crucial for ensuring product quality and mold performance.
