And recently, cup mold have good market, so many customer inquiry for the beer cup mold, mouthwash cup mold,tea cup mold, double color cup mold,etc.
For the normal cup mold, such as mouthwash cup, tea cup. It is normally in PP/PS/SAN/PC material. So your mold steel could choose P20/718/H13/S136/NAK80..., hot runner and cold runner are suitable for the cup. If you mind the gate mark, then you could choose hot runner.
For the double color cup, there are two kinds :1. two color separate 2.mixed two color
The two color separate cup mold, we also called it as over-molding. If you only have one machine, you could make two molds. Produce one product first, and then put the product in another mold to produce again. Or if your machine have two charging barrels, you could make one mold, then put the different color in two charging barrels.
For mixed two color or multi color cup mold,it is better to make in a double gate and charging barrel machine, such like the blow picture.
The double color cup also in PP/silicone/PC/PS/SAN material. So the mold steel and injection system could same as normal cup mold.
