Pipe fittings are generally produced from PP/PE/PVC/PPR plastics, and these plastics have their own characteristics:
PVC plastics are divided into UPVC and CPVC, but they are highly corrosive and their materials are toxic. Mainly used for drainage.
PP/PE plastic used for water, this two plastics are non-toxic.
PPR plastics have good corrosion resistance, high strength, excellent surface hardness, and certain high temperature resistance. They are often used for heating pipes in indoor concrete heating systems.
For different pipe fitting materials, it is necessary to accurately select suitable steel as the injection pipe fitting mold material:
1. Due to the corrosiveness of PVC plastic, it is recommended to use stainless steel such as S136, DIN2316, S420, DIN2083 as mold steel.
2. For PP/PE/PPR materials, 718 (H)/P20H/738/2738 mold steel is a more suitable choice.
About the intersection of pipe fitting mold:
1. PVC plastic is highly corrosive and toxic, and will use cold runners. In addition, this plastic has poor fluidity and is very sensitive to temperature. It will release toxic gases when heated to 180 degrees.
2. In addition to PVC plastic: You can use latent gates, side gates or large gates. (Specific suggestions can be given based on product size)
