For round-shaped basin molds, since the hand needs to grip the side, we incorporate small rounded steps on the side edges to enhance the tactile experience.
When it comes to basin molds requiring a mirror polish, it is only feasible to polish the bottom and 1/3 of the sides. Otherwise, the polished surface may adhere to the cavity side.
Regarding the demolding method for basin molds, you can opt for direct air ejection or a combination of air ejection with a center ejection system. A stripper plate is also an option for basin molds.
The water line design is crucial for basin molds as it can reduce the cycle time. This is particularly important for basins made from PC or PET materials.
